About Grand Oak Farm
Grand Oak Farm was founded in 1995 by Paula Berbaum when she decieded to go professional. The first farm originated in Pinckney, MI.

Grand Oak Farm quickly became a full boarding and training facility with usually 30 horses or more at any given time.

It was this opportunity that Amy took advantage of. Riding anything and everything she could get her hands on, from Quarter Horses to Morgans, Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds.

Grand Oak Farm has expanded its services and is proud to be in Celina, Texas at Legacy Equestrian Center as well as in Howell, Michigan with trainer Paula Berbaum.

Grand Oak Farm specializes in working with difficult horses and help clients develop a good relationship with their mounts. We use the join up method with our equine friends and have had great success.

We understand that no two horses are alike and work one on one to reach your desired goals.

About the trainer....

Trainer Amy Moore has loved horses all her life. At age two she began riding. Most of which was westen and pleasure riding. At age seven her mother introduced her into the Hunter/Jumper world. That Christmas Amy got the best gift a yong girl could hope for.... She got her first pony.

Growing up on a horse farm Amy rode many boarder's horses and gained lots of horse/barn management skills. As a junior rider she competed in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation classes. Amy also showed some western, english pleasure, and saddleseat. With her mother's many clients, she was able to help with riding and showing lots of horses. This was something Amy craved. Her talent and versatility showed loud and clear as she was always in the ribbons on many differernt horses.

Upon Amy's last junior years she qualified for the ASHA Medal Finals in Harrisburg. She actually didn't even know she had qualified until a couple weeks before the show. It was a once in a lifetime experience that she will never forget.

After her last Junior year she groomed and exercised horses at the 2002 and 2003 Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL for a top Michigan barn. Upon returning she entered a marketing career in the apartment industry. At the same time she went Professional and taught lessons and trained on nights and weekends.

Amy's true passion was always going to be horses and so in May of 2007 Amy left the marketing world to pursue her dream and passion.

Grand Oak Farm now operates out of Legacy Equstrian Center. This is a beautiful facility with a wonderful atmosphere and great people.

As a Junior rider Amy took a variety of awards. Including Year End Championships for:

-1998 Novice Jr. Equitation Over Fences Champion

-1998 Limit Jr. Equitation Over Fences Champion

-1998 Young Riders Reserve Champion in the medal finals

-1999 Low Children/Adult Jumper Reserve Champion
